We are sorry to inform that due to internal conflicts, Goblin stopped both live activity and musical production.
Even the concerts in Glasgow and Berlin scheduled for February 2010 have been canceled.
The reason for the dissolution are too complex to be discussed in this forum, so please don't ask questions about this subject.

ciao a tutti, ho visto i video dei goblin su you tube, sono una forza della natura , meravigliosi , esecuzioni perfette.
hanno suonato in austria, a parigi ,suoneranno (mi pare di aver capito) in inghilterra e da noi...solo foligno!!
il nostro, dal punto di vista musicale è proprio un paese di M....
siete riusciti a trovare i biglietti? sto provando continuamente su green ticket ma del festival nemmeno l' ombra.

I arrive to Paris at 15,30 o'clock, my dear friend Corinne waits me and accompanies me to the Parc de the Villette.
To the 17,30 arrival in the park I feel the music, I draw near me to a door, and I ask to be able to assist to the tests.

In an instant I am me I set a pass and enter inside the plant, my friends remain out unfortunately..
To that point I wonder me what the ticket of entry served me, my friends he had already gotten further, I wanted to sell the ticket… but then would have remained without that heirloom… No better holding him/it Whole!!!
In an instant they are behind the stage, here they are!! I see them the GOBLIN.
I also meet Denis, we assist to the tests for about forty minutes.
Then toward the 18 ,30, start there together with the Goblin in the Backstage, The Goblin appear very tired.
But and really at that time that my dream realizes him, I am them close to me!
For a long time my myths were 28 years that I waited for to meet them.
We start to speak, of the future projects of other possible dates, a hour and half with the Goblin, to confrontation as I have always desired.
To That point after the customary photos and you autograph him on the vinyls, Denis and I we start there toward the exit to take a po of air it misses alone mezz'ora to the beginning of the concert.
It is almost 8 o'clock pm, we send us to the inside to assist I haul show, we meet Francis & Marina (Elf Silver & Streghetta Marina)
The Show has beginning…………..
The Emotion is too, I have a knot in throat I am seeing for the first time the Goblin in concert.
Attach with MAGIC THRILLER, Stupendous!
Morante tries to speak to French, English…. to be able to announce the following passage.
MAD PUPPET, that begins with a beautiful solo of Fabio Pignatelli for then to flow in the most suggestive passage of the sonorous Column of the Red Deep film.
The three Passages that follow are played by Fear!
DR FRANKESTAIN, instigated the Goblin on this passage, ROLLER, my preferred ring from God,… And Suono Rock, marvelous live and ring to the perfection with Agostino Marangolo in great form.
The noise dell water, the sweet acoustic guitar of Morante.. AQUAMAN, yearning.
HITCHES and a passage of an unbelievable power, one after the alltro solos of Battery, Guitar and Keyboards are followed, the whole soul Rock of the Band esplodein this Passage.
SUSPIRIA, and welcomed by a boato by the Parisian public as ZOMBI, even if not and plays very well.
Darkness and the passage that it makes to exalt Morante which he/she invites the public to get warm more himself/herself/themselves clapping the Hands, also here the public responds to the great one.
We have almost come at the end of the Show…
DLEN DLON, and I day-dream, and one of the most beautiful passages of the last album of the Goblin.
He/she closes the everlasting Red Depth, greeted with as heat of the public.
The GOBLIN, don't grant unfortunately any Encore, despite the public it asks for him/it to big voice and the Parisian people if I have him it deserved indeed.
But there were other groups that had to climb on the stage and therefore The GOBLIN, have been forced to leave the stage.
It is 10 o'clock pm, 45, the concert and ended, the unforgettable day is lowering the curtain…. But before returning in Turin.. footstep to greet the boys, which very kindly other heirlooms give me, to bring home…
Morante and Pigiatelli, the plectra of their Lower part and Guitar, while Agostino Marangolo, his/her wands of the Battery.
Felice as not never, with my Loot, I go out of the great room, it seems me strange, to see out still the sun.
I find again my friends, and with still the tears of joy I embrace her and I kiss her….
I tell them all of my emotions in few minutes and then…. I have taken a seat in another mythical place.. HARD Rock Café.
They are the 2 of the morning I finally succeed in taking sleep but the idomani in train toward Turin, I didn't realize what I had assisted or done.
Then reopening the Exchange seeing the photos and you autograph him.. I have become account that I was not dreaming anymore, but that what er was finally happened… Reality.

...just wanted to say thank you for the awesome CD. I have a couple questions.
Have you as a group been contacted to do any kind of soundtrack work as BackToTheGoblin? Have any of you individually been contacted for soundtrack work?
Also, I loved the music you guys have created on this CD and now I'm waiting with baited breath for the next. But...do you indeed plan on doing more together as BackToTheGoblin?
Do you play together live or plan to?
For what it's worth my favorite tracks on the CD are Hitches, Japanese Air, Dlen Dion, Bass Theme in E, and Sequential Ideas. Victor is the oddball but at the same time it oddly sets up the rest of the CD nicely. I can't wait to hear where you guys go from here. Goblin with Claudio was magic for us fans. But this new incarnation stands on it's own brilliantly in my opinion. It gets regular play in my car and on my headphones.
Here's hoping there is more to come!

Hello, I joined this forum because I figured it was the best way to get a message to the band. I'm a filmmaker from Chicago, and for a class project I used a track from the "Suspiria" soundtrack. It's a short Zombie film in honor of George Romero.
As of now, I am still within my legal rights.
However, the film came out so well that I want to be able to play it at small film festivals. That's where things get tricky. It's a two minute short and not worth large costs to be able to use the track. However, the music works very well with it. I want the short shown where ever I can get it shown.
Any help with this issue will be appreciated. I am a huge fan of Goblin. Otherwise, I wouldn't have chosen the particular track.

Hi everyone. Hello Maurizio. I have been wanting to know this for quite some time now. Has Goblin had any offers to score films after Non Ho Sonno either from Italian directors or from ones outside Italy? To be frank, I am very disappointed that currently Dario Argento has Claudio Simonetti on his list to score the third film in his unfinished Three Mothers trilogy even though he has postponed this project pending the making of his second film in the Masters of Horror series. I am not even mentioning that I would love to have seen Goblin score Ti Piace Hitchcock or Il Cartaio (I similarly feel a great loss of opportunity when Argento back in late 70s, 1980 had opted for Keith Emerson instead of Goblin to score Inferno). What about directors other than Argento? Would Goblin themselves take on an offer of a film score in whatever genre of a movie today? I am dying to see Goblin do another film score, particularly outside horror/thriller genre, because we all know the potency of Goblin in this particular area.
It would be great to have any information about this. I am very curious whether Goblin could get back into film music environment today. However, I am afraid that modern film industry may blindly remain ignorant of such long time classics as Goblin. I am just hoping that maybe the phenomenon of Bernard Herrmann, who in late 1960s and until mid-70s (until his unfortunate death on 25th December 1975), being already an aged legend, was hired by a host of then young directors (Truffaut, De Palma, Scorcese, etc, modern classics themselves today), would apply to Goblin today. How wonderful would that be!
I wish Goblin a newly long-lasting carreer, good health to all the musicians and I greet fans of Goblin from all over the world. Bye.

To 35 years from the first exit, from first February 2010 a new reprint will go out in vinyl of Red Depth, an occasion not to be lost for all the collectors the fanses of the Goblin and the Masterpiece of Dario Argento. This reprint, besides faithfully reproducing the 1975 first version (you/he/she has been printed near the same typography of the epoch) it contains two extra :
1) the vinyl is colored with spray of blood!!
2) exceptional poster with measures 66 cms x 66 cms taken care of by Roberto Attanasio ( Me ) , one of the most greater world collectors of the Goblin. The poster, besides containing the chronicle of the sonorous column of Red Depth as well as of the rare articles of epoch it contains a list dettagliatissimo of all the world exits ever published of Red Depth with all the images (over a hundred!!) of the respective products.

The Cd have been recorded in Hq (HiQuality), a best sound, as it regards the covers, the plastic houses have returned, every cd and' composed by an original cover of the album, book doesn't exist but only photo of scene of the film scattered in the inside cover.
It has a leaflet folded up in four, with tracks list and biography of the Goblin, Obi and Picture Cd.
the passages of the cd, in Red Depth (2 CD) and Darkness, are the same of the last reprints in Italian digipack (CDMDF 609, CDMDF 613) and those Japanese (ARC 7223, ARC 7217/18)
While Suspiria has 4 passages (film version) in more' in comparison to the last Italian reprint in Digipack (MDF 615)
In the cd of Red Depth, you and' an error in the back book there and' a photo of the Goblin risalente to the period of Suspiria, in fact and' the same image that and' published sull' Lp Originale.
Nothing to be signalled on the press of Zombi, as well as' the passages are the same of the last reprints: Italian (CDMDF 606) And that Japanese (ARC 7222)
Instead Phenomena has well two errors: the sonorous column in the frontal cover is accredited to the Goblin.

The two versions have finally arrived to me in vinyl of the album BACK TO THE GOBLIN 2005
The Cover and' openable, with the frontal image of the cover as in the cd, opening the cover there and' the image of the wall with the title of the album with the notes on the group and the credits of the musicians.
The back cover and' similar to that of the cd, only that the four photos of the musicians are been inserted style domino.
Under the writing Limited Editino 500 Copieses and the custom designed number of every copy and' different.
There are then two Cards. pocket Calendar with an image of the logo of the Goblin Rossa on Black background from to part and the 2009 calendars from the other.
Aloft to the left the tracks list of the Vinyl, the passages Victor and Magic Thriller have been positioned inverted in comparison to the Cd.

You Cinevox Records, during the reprints of all the albums of the group, you/he/she has reserved quite a lot surprises, with printed sonorous columns for the first time on cd or as in the case of Dark OMEGA, published for the first time in absolute. In fact these passages have been recorded in 1979.
The Cover has a Black background, with an image of a girl that lies in a bed with the open eyes (image of a scene of the film). Above writing in Yellow, THE Complete ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS. Under Blank Writing with very great characters Dark OMEGA, the writing is pierced by a Red strip (what calculates the heartbeat that symbolizes the vital state of the Girl).
In Low to the left the Logo of the record house and the number of Catalog, while in Low to the right in low, there and the writing Music By Goblin, Goblin and written in Red without the Red Dot The book contains Notes on the Cd, Plot of the Film, Discografia and Historiography of the Goblin. The back Cover and composed by a photo of scene, the trackses of the cd and the title of the Dark film OMEGA put to side of the Cover.
The Cd and picture and it has an image of head cut of the Girl of the and the name of the group in Red. It doesn't contain the tracks list.
The cd as I said before exactly and unpublished, but there are 4 passages (Quiet Drops, Pillage, Rush, Bikini Island,) that in 1980, they are bushels inserted in another ‘LP of the Goblin: CONTAMINATION.
(These passages were very probably inserted nell of Contamination, or to fill the space on Vinyl or because I/you/they have also been used for the Sonorous Column) however These 4 passages belong to the Sonorous Column of Dark OMEGA, and not of Contamination.
In 1999, A Manufacturing house of Dvd and Laser Disc Tedesca, has Stamped in Limited Edition, only in 500 Copies the 45 Turns of Dark Omega on the occasion of the Laser Disc of the Homonym Film.
Dark Omega / Quiet Drops (CMV-Laser Vision CMV 9907-LD) 1999 ‘s 7 Single
Questo Rare Individual, and has put in Commerce in 1999, the Vinyl and, they have only been 500 Copies printed of it, This Laser Disc together with the Vinyl and is removed by the commerce therefore and almost that cannot be found.
The Vinyl in fact you/he/she could not separately be sold by the Laser Disc.

This disk and one of the strangest because in practice it has only recorded a side of the disk with New Passages, while the In general B and a small Greatest Hits, in reality passages of this Sonorous column are alone 4 and they didn't probably know whether to fill the space remainder on the vinyl.
The Cover has a very beautiful Photo dell actress Jacqueline Bisset, Not and.
On the side I Damage the logo of the House Discografica and the number of Catalog, on the Right side the Name of the GROUP, completely Blank writing.

Hi to Everybody, as well you know from a mesetto around and' gone out the reprint in cd of Suspiria in formed Digipack to 3.
L' Artwork and' very beautiful with photo of scene of the film in all the shutters of the digipack, the cd has the artwork of the LP Originale instead.
The inside Book of the cd still contains!!!! scenes of the film, very suggestive..
Any Photo of the Goblin, and this is sorry a lot me, I don't understand because' the Cinevox with all the photos that it has in the I file doesn't succeed in also finding space for an unpublished photo of the group.
In these last reprints in Digipack, only in the double cd The Best of Goblin, where there and' the Live appears the photo of the group, in black and white that it was introduces sull' LP Originale of Red Depth.

To This point I wonder me which the problem is, if the photos of the group have not been put on the cd of Suspiria and Red Depth, in which other reprints we could see of their unpublished photos?
As it regards the content audio of the cd, to signal only last trace - SUSPIRIA (Alternate TAKE), (passage that he/she is listened in the film during the scene of Susy abdomen crosses the galleries that will bring her/it right-hand from Helena Markos...)
The very unpublished BLACK FOREST / BLIND CONCERT, and' always the same one there are no differences, the two traces rather than' to be separated from the number of trace, is inserted in an alone trace.
As in the original disk the I attach some two passages and' produced by the tinkling of the bells, therefore it was already' a suite in the original one.
I believe, that is the moment to think well, and to start to reprint these disks on the Vinyl, then him that they would be indeed of the sweet.
